I went hiking today

One of my favorite things about Colorado is that it can be 91 outside but there's still snow on the mountains.

PRETTY.

  1. Great picture.

I can remember one occasion some years back in early May here in Minneapolis, when the temp got up to 77 degrees one day, and there was still ice in the middle of one of the lakes. (The previous winter had been so cold for so long that the ice hadn't completely melted in the lakes even by early May.)

  2. Snow on the mountains with a 91-degree weather? Not for long.

  3. Someone told me yesterday was a record high, but that seems a little crazy.

  4. It's not 91 on the mountains, see.

I grew up in Colorado. No way is 91 a record high for early June. Where is this picture? Is that you? Ah, I miss the mountains.

Re coming all over things, this expression is all over Henry James. People are always "coming over a bit queer" & whatnot.
