Because #2K1 was so fun, Sommer and I are organizing another live-tweet. And this time, it's spoo-OO-ooky!
Many of you told me this is the scariest movie you've ever seen. Well, IT'S TIME TO FACE YOUR FEARS.
Fine print: You will need to rent or own the movie to play. Start on time to be NSYNC. Use hashtag #redrum (shorter and better than our original plan for #TheShining). See you on Twitter!
a FB friend of mine is doing this too !
ReplyDeleteWe're everywhere!
DeleteI have not seen this movie but based on the trailer it looks like the kind of movie I would enjoy.
ReplyDeleteSuper feel-good.
DeleteI've seen The Shining many times, and I always feel a stab of pity for Nicholson's character at the end, when he's staggering around the labyrinthine topiary, freezing to death. None of it was his fault; he was possessed and driven mad by the evil spirits in the hotel!
ReplyDeleteI've actually only seen it once, years ago, so it'l be fresh for me. And extra-relevant, being in Colorado and all....
DeleteListen closely at the end: he's calling slurredly for help. He's coming to his senses outside the hotel, but it's too late.
DeleteOne of my favorite films! If only my laptop didn't die... It'd be a pain in the ass to live tweet from a desktop while craning my neck to see the television. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteOh darn. Well you should watch it this month anyway!
DeleteElisa,
ReplyDeleteThere is a new flick called "Room 237", which provides an extensive analysis of "The Shining". I have not seen it; it will be shown at the Chicago Film Festival. Not every theory supplied in the film sounds plausible, but it certainly makes for some interesting discussion!

Oh, that sounds interesting, thanks!
