I have not seen this movie but based on the trailer it looks like the kind of movie I would enjoy.
I've seen The Shining many times, and I always feel a stab of pity for Nicholson's character at the end, when he's staggering around the labyrinthine topiary, freezing to death. None of it was his fault; he was possessed and driven mad by the evil spirits in the hotel!
I've actually only seen it once, years ago, so it'l be fresh for me. And extra-relevant, being in Colorado and all....
Listen closely at the end: he's calling slurredly for help. He's coming to his senses outside the hotel, but it's too late.
One of my favorite films! If only my laptop didn't die... It'd be a pain in the ass to live tweet from a desktop while craning my neck to see the television. Have fun!

Elisa,There is a new flick called "Room 237", which provides an extensive analysis of "The Shining". I have not seen it; it will be shown at the Chicago Film Festival. Not every theory supplied in the film sounds plausible, but it certainly makes for some interesting discussion!TaffyJ
